This year's flu season is officially underway and it could be a bad one, according to health officials.

New stats show that the flu season in Australia is one of the worst in recent years.

That's usually an indicator of what can be expected in the United States.

Everyone is encouraged to get a flu shot by the end of the month.

There are plenty of places to get a flu shot, including the Southern Nevada Health District clinics.
