Teen caught doing prank faces punishment

Posted
A teenager is being punished for a challenge that's been popular online.

The name of the challenge is "Put 'Em In a Coffin."

Participants cross their arms over their chest and essentially dive backwards onto something.

Terri-Ann Simonelli was the victim of this when she caught a teenager on camera doing the challenge on the hood of her pickup truck.

The  young man who caused the $1,160 of damage has been caught and now he's paying the price.

The laundry list of consequences he faces includes four months of probation, paying Simonelli for the repairs, an 8:00 p.m. curfew, and writing a personal letter of apology.

Simonelli says she's thrilled with this result, saying justice and accountability are being served.
