A $4,000 payment from a tabloid TV show may have contributed to the fatal shooting in Houston of a man who was arrested last month for having sex on a Las Vegas Ferris wheel.

Court documents related to the arrest this week of Bryant Watts and Aaron Jones for the March 19 slaying of 27-year-old Philip Panzica show one of the suspects either knew of the payment from the "Inside Edition" TV program or may have spotted some of the money in his fiancee's purse.

Panzica, his fiancée Mistie Bozant and the two men were in her car when Watts ordered Panzica to "come clean," pointed a gun and shot him.

They dumped his body, ordered her out, grabbed her purse and drove off. They were arrested 300 miles away.
