Police are still searching for a suspect who shot at a security officer outside a business in the 5900 block of West Flamingo, near Jones Boulevard.
The incident began around 7:05 a.m. Sunday. A security officer went to break up a fight behind the business when one person took out a gun and started shooting at the officer. The officer returned fire.
No one was struck by the gunfire, though stray bullets hit a few cars.
The suspect fled the scene. A few people were detained for questioning, but no one has been taken into custody.
