LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Atlanta might be hosting the Super Bowl but there's plenty of excitement over the game right here in Las Vegas.

It's always one of our busiest weekends of the year, with people coming from all over the world to watch and bet on the game.

But whether you're betting on the LA Rams or the New England Patriots to win, the local economy is the one sure to win big this weekend.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority expects to see 306,000 visitors this year for Super Bowl weekend. We are looking at hundreds of millions of dollars pumped in our local economy -- close to $425 million. Hotels will be nearly full and restaurant reservations are at a premium.
