While Nevada continues to have a high number of students per teacher, the Silver State is not the worst for teachers.

The new WalletHub study finds that Nevada ranks No. 32 overall on the best states for teachers.

Nevada is No. 48 for highest pupil-teacher ratio, though.

WalletHub determined New York is the best state for teachers while Hawaii is the worst state for teachers where the salaries are the lowest adjusted for the cost of living.
