A Henderson woman says a squatter is taking advantage of her after parking his RV right next to her home.
Vicki said the squatter came to the neighborhood and parked his RV on the empty lot by her house near Pacific Avenue and Horizon Drive about three months ago.
She said the squatter inside the RV steals her water, uses her trash cans, and even throws his human waste from the toilet into the middle of the empty lot. She said he has even gone so far as to come up on her porch to charge his phone on her outlets.
Vicki says he owns the RV, but not the land it's on.
"I called up the city and they said they're going to check with the owner and then we'll see if we can remove him, but that was in the first week or two and they never did anything," she said.
13 Action News reached out to the city of Henderson, too. After we called, they sent someone out to put a seven-day tag on it. If it's not gone in seven days, they will tow it.
