A Southwest Airlines flight was forced to land at McCarran International Airport on Wednesday afternoon because of a possible blown tire and possible tail strike.
Flight 511 was able to land safely around 2:13 p.m. and the emergency was terminated.
The flight departed McCarran for St. Louis at 12:55 p.m.
It was later determined that there was no blown tire. It is not known if there was a tail strike of some kind.
