The romaine lettuce e. coli outbreak has been traced to farms in northern and central California.

65 people in 12 states became sick after eating romaine lettuce.

The FDA warned everyone not to eat any lettuce and many stores pulled it off their shelves and restaurants stopped offering it.

The FDA snow says romaine lettuce from other regions should be safe. The FDA also says it will now ask for labels to have harvest dates and information about where it came from.
