A man was arrested overnight after a fight over food at a local AM/PM led to shots fired and a chase involving the police.
It started around 1:30 a.m. near Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue.
Police say that two men attempted to leave without paying for snacks and an employee tried to stop them. One of the men then went out to his vehicle, grabbed a gun, came back inside and fired a shot at the employee
The shot missed and the man fled the scene in his vehicle.
He then AM/PM near Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road. When the police arrived, he got back into his car and took off.
However, he crashed into a tree a short distance away.
He attempted to flee on foot, but police were able to catch him.
It is not known what happened to the other man.
