According to a new report from the Nevada Taxicab Authority, ridership was down almost 11 percent last month.
The cab companies are also reporting a similar drop.
The decline in number of people riding in taxis in Las Vegas is being attributed to ridesharing.
1.76 million taxi trips were recorded in the month of July.
