After two cats got caught in leg hold traps in the Mountain's Edge area, several upset residents decided to address Clark County's Advisory Board for wildlife Tuesday.

"It's just very, very cruel and the restrictions are just so loose that anything can happen at anytime and I feel really bad for the owners of this cat," said Stephanie Myers, Lee Canyon resident.

The traps are used by fur trappers and are legal in parts of Clark County, but not near Mountain's Edge.

Officials are exploring solutions to the problem. Tuesday night, they talked about ways to streamline the current system.
