Republic Services is giving some guidance on the dos and don't of recycling after Halloween.
Costumes are not always recyclable because they are often made from different types of material. Your best bet is to keep the costume for reuse or donate it to a secondhand store.
Cardboard, plastic, metal containers and glass bottles are recyclables.
Used pumpkins, candy wrappers and used plates and towers are not recyclables.
Republic Services says when in doubt though, throw it out.
