Middle-class families are making less money across the country but money can go further depending on location.
A new report from SmartAsset ranked Nevada as the 9th best place to live for middle-class families and 46 percent of households in Nevada are considered middle class.
Many want the American dream of homeownership and living in Nevada helps, according to that report.
