A northern Nevada man has turned himself in to face criminal charges related to a fatal crash that claimed the life of a 76-year-old Reno man in May.
Reno police say 20-year-old Parker Billings of Reno was arrested Thursday and booked into the Washoe County Jail for suspicion of reckless driving causing death.
Joseph Hedgecock was killed in the crash that shut down the South Meadows Parkway near Sandhill Road for several hours on May 24, 2017.
Police said at the time that neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to be a factor in the accident.
