Red Rock Search and Rescue is in desperate need of donations to replace equipment.
The group has been without a fully outfitted mobile command post for more than two years. The one they had was damaged beyond repair during a rescue mission.
The vehicle has been replaced and now they need to buy radios, computers and other equipment for it.
There was also a mobile home destroyed in a fire in April. That was used for the families of people being searched for.
Leaders say searches aren't as effective without those two crucial pieces of the rescue effort.
"When we would go out with the mobile command, it had computers, radio equipment, maps," said Bryan Zink with RRSR. "Now when we go out, we have a folding table, a pop-up tent and handheld radios."
If you would like to help, donations can be made on Red Rock's GoFundMe page.
