A storm brought rain and cooler temperatures throughout the Las Vegas valley Monday morning.
At the Las Vegas wash near Hollywood Boulevard and Vegas Valley Drive, the water was running fast to keep up with the runoff from the storm.
Thunder and lightning was reported throughout the valley with Boulder City getting dime-sized hail.
Many commuters had to deal with the conditions and some said it added a few minutes to their drive into work.
"My truck can get a little bit squirrelly, but in this town driving is already a headache and when this type of weather comes around it just multiplies," said Mike Sansone.
