The city of Las Vegas is one step closer to going solar.
The Public Utilities Commission approved a partnership between the city and NV Energy.
Now, the Las Vegas City Council just needs to approve it.
When all is said and done, every streetlight, city park, fire station and public building owned by the city will be 100% powered by renewable energy.
