Protesters got together and built a wall in front of Joe Heck's office Thursday.
Leaders of local organizations say the point was to denounce the Republican congressman and Senate candidate's support of Donald Trump, referencing his comments about building a wall on the Mexican border.
The group, including people with Battle Born Progress, iAmerica Action and American Federation of Government Employees, held signs with facts about how immigrants have contributed to the country.
"Joe Heck really needs to get it together," said Emily Zamora, of iAmerica Action. "He needs to get his facts straight and really show his face to the immigrant community on how he really feels."
The people who made up the wall in front of Heck's office say they want everyone to stop building walls and instead build bridges.
