The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is preparing for Election Day Tuesday.

The department is taking every precaution to ensure every voter is safe. Polling places will be monitored and LVMPD says they will ensure a quick response if anything happens.

"Metro is involved in ensuring that the ballots, once they're completed, get to the polling location for the final count each election night," said Deputy Chief Charles Hank.

Hank says there has not been any intelligence that they expect any type of disturbance or incident.
