Gov. Brian Sandoval is saying no to legalizing recreational marijuana in Nevada.
The Republican governor opposes the ballot measure saying that marijuana leads young people to get into trouble with the law.
If approved, the initiative would restrict recreational marijuana to people over the age of 21. It would go into effect next year.
Right now, more than 18,000 people in Nevada have medical marijuana cards with 12,000 in Clark County.
Sandoval also says he has never smoked pot.
