A few days after a deadly crash, a video on Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Facebook page is getting a lot of attention on social media.

The video shows an officer's an impassioned plea following a recent crash in the Las Vegas valley.

"We're on the scene of yet another fatal accident."

Now Las Vegas police are taking a different approach, pleading with people not to drink and drive. Officers posted a video on Facebook about Tuesday's crash at Rainbow Boulevard and Robindale Road. It marked Las Vegas' 67th traffic-related death for 2018.

"Another senseless death was caused due to irresponsibility in driving."

This video posted on LVMPD's Facebook page has moved people – it now has thousands of views and hundreds of shares.

Some commenting, "If people would obey the rules and stop running lights twenty seconds after they turn red, a lot of these deaths could be avoided."

Another person said, "People need to understand that a motor vehicle is as deadly as a loaded gun... Too many lives lost for no reason."

"Wake up Las Vegas. This is avoidable."
