Police are searching for three suspects after two gas station robberies Monday overnight.

The first happened at a convenience store near Rainbow Boulevard and Charleston Boulevard around 1 a.m. The suspects ran into the store, demanded customers to get on the ground, and fired three shots in the air. They took $200-$300 from the cash register and fled on foot.

The second robbery took place near Sahara Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. Police say the men entered the store wearing hockey masks and armed with a gun and a machete.
"I'm a little shocked, not surprised, but shocked because of the area, there's a lot that goes on around here, a lot of crime," says one customer, Sandra Peterson.

The police investigation is still ongoing. So far, the suspects have not been found. Police are concerned that the two robberies on Monday morning and the robbery that resulted in a 7-Eleven clerk being shot on Sunday are related.

Anyone with information on either incident is urged to contact police.
