Police are investigating the death of a preteen in east Las Vegas Saturday morning.
Around 11:15 a.m., police responded to the 4900 block of East Idaho Avenue, near Charleston and Nellis boulevards. She was found in the bathroom unresponsive.
She was identified as 12-year-old Tristin Magness. Her cause of death is pending.
Police said it appears to be a medical episode but due to the age of the preteen, it is being investigated further.
