Around 2:15 p.m. on Monday, Henderson Police, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI
conducted a search warrant near Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.
While officials were conducting the search, they noticed that the male suspect was suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound.
Police are not sure if the self-inflicted gun shot wound happened before officials arrived, or while they were there.
The man was transported to UMC. Details of the search warrant have not been released.
