PHOENIX (KTNV) — Last week police discovered the body of a baby at an Amazon shipping facility in Phoenix. Now, authorities have arrested the mother.
Police say 22-year-old Samantha Vivier has been charged with unlawful disposal of human remains after police were called to the facility on Jan. 16.
According to reports, Vivier faced a judge and said never knew she was pregnant.
Investigators believe she gave birth to a stillborn.
Vivier is accused of taking the child's body and putting it in a plastic bag and throwing it in a trash can.
Police say she was an employee at Amazon.
