Police are investigating a death near Harmon Avenue and Boulder Highway Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 12:22 p.m. on December 16, 2015 Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department patrol officers were dispatched to an apartment complex located in the 5500 block of East Harmon Avenue to investigate a report of a fight and possible stabbing.
Arriving officers were directed to an apartment where they found a male suffering an apparent stab wound. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated the victim had been involved in a physical fight with several other individuals in the courtyard of the complex. The fight continued into the apartment where the victim was found stabbed.
The suspect or suspects are unidentified and the motive is unknown.
This is the 125th homicide investigated by the LVMPD in 2015. The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
