One person has been shot after an attempted robbery in North Las Vegas Tuesday evening.
North Las Vegas Police confirm that the attempted robbery occurred at a convenient store near Craig and Pecos Road.
Police say a citizen tried to stop the robbery which resulted in the two men firing shots at each other. The citizen was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition.
The suspected armed robber is still at large. Police are unsure if the suspect left by car or by foot.
Regular customers of the store say they are nervous about going back.
