An adult male was transported to the hospital after an incident at 5187 East Piazza Cavour Drive, near Lake Mead and Nellis Boulevards.
Police received the call around 1 a.m. Wednesday. Preliminary information indicated that a group of males approached two victims in a driveway, assaulted them, then forced their way into the house.
However, it appears the claims are unfounded. The homeowner said nothing happened.
It is unclear how the male was injured.
