Shots fired at a valley gas station left one person dead and two others in the hospital.
Around midnight on Sunday, police say a man walked up to a car at a gas station near Cactus Avenue and Bermuda Road and started shooting at the three men inside.
Investigators believe it started as an argument.
People living in the neighborhood say this kind of violence is very unusual.
"It just doesn't happen," said Steve Hansen, an area resident. "You normally don't get this out here, so it's kind of a shock to have someone get shot here close to the house. It's not a good deal."
The two surviving victims are in stable condition.
Police say the two suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.
