Officers say the suspect is expected to survive.
Police say it started when a neighbor reported there was a man pointing at cars with a gun, which was later determined to be a replica. Calls started around 8 p.m.
Witnesses say officers spent about 15 minutes asking the man to drop his gun, before a single shot was fired. He was hit in the shoulder.
