According to the latest information, NFL owners will vote next week on whether or not the Oakland Raiders should be allowed to move to Las Vegas.
Several people familiar with deliberations say they believe that the move will be approved.
Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak also tweeted that he met with a Raiders representative on Wednesday and that he is keeping his fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
The annual meeting of NFL owners will begin on Monday in Phoenix, Arizona. The relocation must be approved by at least 24 of the 32 NFL team owners.
Earlier this month, Bank of America announced that it would provide financing for the stadium after casino mogul Sheldon Adelson and Goldman Sachs pulled out of the stadium deal.
Even if the move is approved, the stadium is not expected to be built before 2020.
