The Trump administration is working to make your medication more affordable, after President Trump signed two bills Wednesday, lifting "gag clauses" on prescription drugs. 13 Action News is looking into ways you can save money on your medications right now.

According to a new survey by RetailMeNot, over half of the country is on some type of prescription medication, and many are paying too much. That is forcing them to skip days, or even take half of the recommended dose.

Many don't know that different pharmacies offer different prices.

Now, there's an app for that. It's called RetailMeNot Rx Saver.

13 Action News tried out the app. All you have to do is type in the name of the prescription drug you're looking for, put in your zip code, and the app finds pharmacies near you with prices to compare and a coupon to download.

You can download the free app here.
