As lockdowns in some states ease but air travel may still seem risky, roadtripping has become a popular option for Americans looking to get out of the house this summer.
Data indicates that drivers in some states are more irresponsible than in others, so some people may want to exercise additional caution as they hit the road.
In its 4th annual study, SmartAsset analyzed metrics including DUI arrests per 1,000 drivers, fatalities per 100 million vehicle miles driven and the percentage of insured drivers to find the states with the worst drivers.
Nevada ranks among the top 10 states nationwide. The state is ranked #2 on the list.
