Nevada ranks high on list of states with most at-risk youth

According to a new study by WalletHub, Nevada ranks No. 8 in list of states with the most at-risk youth.

WalletHub’s analysts compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 10 key indicators of youth risk. The data set ranges from share of disconnected youth to labor force participation rate among youth to youth poverty rate.

This is what they found in the state of Nevada.

At-Risk Youth in Nevada (1=Most at Risk; 25=Avg.):
11th – % of Disconnected Youth
1st – % of Youth Without a High School Diploma
27th – % of Youth Drug Users
33rd – Youth Labor Force Participation Rate
1st – % of Homeless Youth
