LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — 16 states - including Nevada - have filed a lawsuit to challenge President Donald Trump's national emergency deceleration.
The lawsuit claims it is unconstitutional for the president to divert funds for a border wall because congress is supposed to control spending.
The attorney general for California says Trump undercut his own emergency argument during Friday's announcement by saying, "I didn't need to do this."
