Nevada Highway Patrol troopers were looking for folks driving dangerously around semi-trucks, in addition to other distracted driving Wednesday.
13 Action News rode along in NHP's own big-rig for their Badge on Board Operation along the 215 beltway in Las Vegas.
The inside of their truck was decked out like a patrol car, along with a trooper inside, looking out for drivers improperly passing the truck and other semis.

Troopers were also on the lookout for drivers using their phone behind the wheel.
NHP told 13 Action News the operation is all about keeping drivers safe and reducing the number of crashes specifically involving big commercial vehicles.
During Wednesday's operation, troopers issued more than 100 citations.
