Neighbors turned to 13 Action News after they say teenagers on dirt bikes and ATVs are causing havoc near Buffalo Drive and Cactus Avenue.

"You can hear them like revving up," said Danielle Deguzman.

13 Action News obtained video of the teens riding in the wash located directly behind the homes. We're told this has been an ongoing issue for more than a year. Additionally, more teens trespass in the wash during the summer months.

"They go down this ramp," said neighbor Chloe Cypert. "... You'll hear them come back up and it echoes."

Deguzman, a mother of three young children, says the noise is impacting her quality of life. Her baby boy has a hard time staying asleep.

"He wakes up," she said, "and once he's up, he doesn't go back to sleep for a couple of hours."

Neighbors are also worried about the danger to the teens in the wash.

"This will be dry, and in a second," said Cypert. "... It's just rushing with water."

A spokesman for Clark County says most of the wash complaints are about the homeless or kids using the wash as a shortcut to school. They will be checking out the area to see what, if anything, can be done to secure the entrances.

Trespassing is a misdemeanor.
