The rain, lightning, and thunder has calmed down temporarily around the Las Vegas valley, but you can expect to see a few more showers before the week is over.

Storms will likely redevelop over the mountains around midday today. Storms in Arizona could sneak into Las Vegas this afternoon or evening, but the chance is lower today than yesterday.

Better storm chances arrive on Wednesday, with possible showers in the morning and the afternoon.

Around 10 p.m. NV Energy reported over 41,000 customers were without power and as of 5:30 a.m. this morning, there were still 3,000 customers waiting to have their power restored.
