Although the 2016 presidential election is nearly a year away, Vegas is already taking bets on who will win next year’s election. If the Vegas odds are any indication, expect former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to win next year’s election.

Clinton has a better than 50 percent chance of winning next year’s election, according to multiple Vegas outlets. Matchbook, a Vegas betting exchange, has Clinton listed as a 4 to 5 favorite to win the general election. The odds would indicate that Clinton would have a 55.5 percent chance of winning the election.

Republican Senator Marco Rubio, who has 22 to 5 odds of winning the general election, follows her. Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz all follow Rubio and Clinton with worse than 10 to 1 odds.

Clinton is given 1 to 20 odds of winning the Democratic nomination. Senator Bernie Sanders has 15 to 1 odds.

The favorite to win the GOP nomination is Rubio, who has 5 to 4 odds of winning the party’s nod. Trump has 3 to 1 odds, Senator Ted Cruz follows at 7 to 2 and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has 17 to 1 odds.

What do the Vegas odds mean? It is too early to tell, but bettors in Las Vegas are suggesting Clinton will be tough to beat in both the primary and general elections. It also suggests that Rubio will rally from behind to beat Trump for the Republican Party’s nomination.
