GEORGIA (KTNV) — Righting the wrongs of history.

Georgia is now paying reparations 70 years after a federal program took land from Black homeowners to build freeways and universities.

About 40 families of color in Las Vegas were impacted.

Reporter Matt Pearl shows the consequences of the federal program and what’s being done to fix it in our Two Americas segment.
