A small study from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases shows the coronavirus vaccines will likely fight off new variants.

Researchers studied white blood cell samples from 30 people who recovered from COVID-19 before the emergence of variants.

They found the T cells, which are a key component in the body's immune system, remained active against the virus.
