Coronavirus testing is not just for people. In South Korea, the capital Seoul has started testing symptomatic dogs and cats of COVID-19 patients.

The tests come after the country reported pets getting infected with the virus.

Since animal to human infection has not been reported, officials say pets will be quarantined at home for two weeks even if they test positive.

South Korea reported its first case of an animal COVID-19 infection last month after a household cat tested positive.
