The Federal Eviction Moratorium is still in place through the end of March.

After that, some 40 million people across the U.S. are at risk of losing their homes because they owe back rent.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, along with other advocacy groups, are trying to educate people about how to stay in their homes.

If you are facing eviction, you need the tenant declaration form provided by the CDC.

"It puts a lot of burden on the individual renter. You have to fill out forms, you have to prove that the reason you can't pay your rent is directly related to the pandemic." said Dr. Richard Besser, president and CEO of Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

One thing to note, the tenant declaration form only prevents evictions based on non-payment.

The Nevada Housing Division recently received more money for the Cares Housing Assistance Program.

More than $93 million will go to Clark County to help those struggling to pay rent and other housing expenses.
