National security conference comes to Las Vegas

Posted
The Nevada National Security Action Summit was held at the International Peace Education Center Monday, led by dozens of guest speakers.

The focus of Monday's summit was the threats against the United States, specifically the decline of the U.S. Military, the electric power grid, the global jihad movement, and border and immigration policy.

Organizers say they want more people to be educated about what is happening and get involved.

"It seems like a lot of Americans have almost lost their national security gene that used to exist during the Cold War," said Tommy Waller of the Center for Security Policy.
