LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — NASCAR Weekend is rolling through Las Vegas.
Race fans kicked off the playoffs last night on the Las Vegas Strip as all 16 drivers took a victory lap and put their burn out skills to the test.
The party continues Friday night as fans and drivers get ready for the South Point 400.
Last year, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority recorded 70,000 people in attendance and over 60,000 of those fans were from out-of-state.
This year the LVCVA is expecting to hit that number again and estimating to reach just a little over 90 million dollars in revenue.
NASCAR will debut new changes including new start times this Sunday.
