Around 11:23 a.m. Thursday, a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department motorcycle officer initiated a traffic stop near Desert Inn Road and Valley View Boulevard for a motorcyclist.
When the officer approached the motorcycle rider, the rider shoved the officer and took off on foot.
The rider was chased down and apprehended soon after.
No serious injuries were reported, but the rider seemed to suffer some sort of medical episode.
Medical assistance had to be called out to the scene.
