UPDATE: Las Vegas police release video from night of mass shooting

UPDATE AT 12:45 P.M. 13 Action News is in possession of several hours of video shot by Las Vegas police on the night of the mass shooting. We are currently reviewing that video. Check back for updates. 

The video that was released appears to be aerial video that was shot shortly after the shooting that took the lives of 58 people and injured hundreds more during the Route 91 music festival.

This is the fourth batch of records to be released by the police department. The material is being released in batches after the police department was ordered to do so by a judge.

A motive for the shooting still not has been released by police. Stephen Paddock did not leave behind any sort of explanation. 

ORIGINAL STORY

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department will release more information related to the mass shooting in October on Wednesday.

The police department has not specified what they will be releasing but it is expected to be a large amount of material.

The release is expected to happen around noon.
