LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Passengers deplaning into Terminal 1 at McCarran International Airport began their New Year's celebrations 12 hours early.
The "Noon Year's Eve" celebration treated people to free music, a dance floor, hats and noise makers, all capped off with a champagne or sparkling grape juice toast at noon.
Joe Rajchel, McCarran spokesperson, said they toasted the New Year at noon because most travelers would be away from the airport when midnight comes around.
