A resident of Mountain's Edge said that he had to wait several hours for local police to respond after he and his 4-year-old daughter came home and found that his home had been ransacked.
The man says that he is terrified and frustrated and he called Action News hoping for help.
The man says that when he and his daughter walked into the home, they saw that the pantry door was open and the back door had been smashed.
He told Action News that he heard someone upstairs and that he and his daughter bolted out of the home.
He began calling the police around 9:30 p.m., but they reportedly did not respond until after midnight.
The man says he is now scared to be inside the home.

Part two of that home break in I'm covering this morning. The live stream was breaking up. This guy says he waited hours for police to show up even though he heard someone in the house.
